After our first jaunt to the beach, we really had a hard time explaining to Mia why we couldn't just go hang out at the ocean in between nap times anymore. So, we did what any parent hoping to raise a well-rounded, the world doesn't revolve around me child, would do... we loaded up and caught the next flight back to Florida! We spent the next week hanging out about a mile from the line- no Florabama this time... there's always next year!

| I really could get used to this no car seat thing... can we start taking an airplane to the grocery store? |
| Sorry Mia, you may not be going to college after all, since we had to empty your account to pay for these Pringles. Mommy & Daddy were starving and the only snacks available cost our whole life's savings. When we told the flight attendant we wanted to purchase the Pringles, even she seemed unsure. Asking multiple times if we were aware the can was very, very small. Finally Mommy told her we were starving in such a tone that she smiled, handed over the can, and promptly took our monies. |
| The pool seems much smaller this trip than last Daddy. |
| I've got my hat, my lobster, and my teeth- take me to the ocean! |
| Showing off my ruffle bottom. |
| I call this one "Mia Meets The Old Woman in Her" pose. |
| I love walking on the beach, it's so relaxing and fun. |
| For some reason it makes Daddy thirsty... sure, Daddy, I'll share. |
| DenDen, do you know where we are? |
| When the beach got too hot I liked to hang out at the indoor pool with GG. |
| Mommy, you are kinda interrupting our playtime here... could you come back a little later please? |
| For some reason when we go to the beach Mommy & Daddy go on lots of dates. |
| DenDen, no really... is it Florida we are in? |
| GG, I need to tell my friends... is this Alabama? |
| Florida?!? |
| Playing on the beach is hard work, the sun made Mommy extra tired, so even though DenDen was trying to catch up on some important reading... he said he would give me my bottle. DenDen, I can tell you what happens... Elmo loves red. |
| Wow, Daddy... that is so big. |
| Ummmm... I think I just like to look Daddy... remember we talked about this last time? |
| Nothing better than a little Sophie cheek after a long day in the sun. |
| I went over my minutes? Oops, sorry Mom. I was just trying to figure out who to call about getting that ocean on our street at home too. It would help if I knew what state we were in Mom. |
| I didn't want to leave and when the airline offered some free vouchers if we would get off the flight, I hoped we would. But, we didn't take them- something about how hanging out with me in the airport for 8 hours didn't seem like fun. I guess it's good we didn't, when we got home and I saw my hair after all those travels I had to head for the bath straight away. Hair- it never behaves like you want it to. |
